A 23 year old soul singer from Blackburn, UK, Charlotte OC hits the airwaves bringing in a raw and enticing brand of Soul Pop.

Signed to Stranger Records, Charlotte seems to be already climbing to heady heights with her new single Hangover, which was given the accolade of Single of the Week on US iTunes in the first week of 2014. This song brought sanctity to our four day wrestle with fear and loathing induced from a fantastic New Year's celebratory binge.

She isn't the finished article but the potential is palpable and her sound seems to be on a steady path that with more time and writing promises interesting things ahead. Her sound is almost of Lana Del Ray vein without the California polish, Charlotte OC feels more real and believable.

Her songs are laced with mesmerizing melodies intertwined with lyrics like "sipping your love away... if you do it right...", and "I don't want your love I need it... and if the Gods above see it, why don't you believe it." You are drawn in wondering about the artist's experiences and how they relate to your own. The pace and cadence of her delivery let you breathe out with a comforting feeling that everything might just be fine in the depths of shimmering darkness.
