Haim: Days Are Gone

A group of three Californian girls who once had their mother and father forming part of their band.  Haim are what we dreamt Wilson Phillips could have been.  Infectious pop music, street rock cool and bags of fun.  The band have been making appearances in London venues recently and even made an appearance on the Andrew Marr political Sunday show with so much vitality, it was the most tea shaking performance the British Prime Ministier has surely seen showcasing Haim's latest single out 30 September 2013. You can see it here http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-24322732

We think this performance blows the saccharin out of the water of this lovely pop trio's own official video but it doesn't stop there.

Their album features bonus remixes with Duke Dumont [The Giver] and on the main album cut Running If You Call My Name, feels like a 80s synth laden Sunday night top 40 hit.  Our favourite tracks are below; The Wire [featured on Andrew Marr show] and Let Me Go, that has that rock vibe of an Ocean Colour Scene banger.

One of the best rock pop albums of the year possibly. If you like this vibe you should also check out the MS MR album which will have Florence and her machine running for the mixing desk.
