Global Village

With 31 pavillions from Thailand to Tunisia Global Villiage is an epic experience set over a vast area just off the Sheikh Bin Mohammed Road, close to Arabian Ranches.

Doors open at 4pm each day and the park quickly fills up with the small eager crowds who had gathered outside for up to an hour purchase their AED 15 ticket.

Exploring the Village could take you hours as you rummage through the stalls with all sorts of things to be found such as beautifully crafted hand woven baskets from Senegal, designer hibays and Morrocan furniture and light shades. See some of what's in store in our short video below

Throughout the night each pavilion puts on traditional entertainment from its respective homeland, including the UAE, so expect lots of dancing and singing from all of the world. If the shopping, eating, singing and dancing doesn't exhaust you then the fairground with a breathtaking swing may just.

A really interesting world on the edge of Dubai that continues to improve each year and is definitely worth a visit, just make sure you set aside a few hours or you won't experience half of it.
